How a practitioner creates a papersGP account — and why being on the NHSD makes it a two-minute job.

papersGP recognises practitioners already listed in the National Health Services Directory (NHSD) and imports your professional details for you. If you're on the directory, you only verify a mobile number and set a password — about two minutes. If you're not yet listed, you can still sign up directly; it just asks for a few more details.

How sign-up works

One starting point, two paths

Everyone begins the same way. papersGP checks the NHSD, and that single check decides how much you need to type.

Identify yourself. Go to doctor.papersgp.com/register, enter your name and email, agree to the EULA, then enter your AHPRA or Medicare provider number. papersGP looks you up in the NHSD.
